Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, getting a score of 75.8 against 75.6. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's construction is a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, even though it was released just 19 months before. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has the older 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a little bigger display, a little bit higher quantity of pixels per screen inch and a quite better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's battery lifetime is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T one.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T takes much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a much better 48 MP resolution back-facing camera, a larger aperture to capture better low-light photos and video and a way better video quality.
