Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has an overall score of 76.6, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's score of 75.6. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T were only released with a couple months difference, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's design is just a little bit thicker but also just a bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's CPU is just as good as the processor in Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T captures clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, a camera with a 48 mega-pixels resolution and the same back camera sensor size, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with more storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because although it has a SD card slot that holds 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a 26% more battery size.
