Comparison review
IPhone 11 Pro Max is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, having a score of 85.3 against 81.1. Although iPhone 11 Pro Max and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro were released only a few months apart, iPhone 11 Pro Max's construction is just a bit thinner but just a little bit heavier. The iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with iOS 15.x OS, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro works with Android 10 OS.
The iPhone 11 Pro Max counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1242 x 2688 pixels resolution and a just a little better screen pixels density. IPhone 11 Pro Max features a faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a much larger sensor providing a way better image quality and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a lot bigger storage for applications and games than iPhone 11 Pro Max, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has improved battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 3969mAh.
Although iPhone 11 Pro Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 11 Pro Max, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up some features and specifications.
