Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a 5G is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, having a score of 87.5 against 81.1. Even though the Google Pixel 4a 5G and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro were only released with a few months difference, the Google Pixel 4a 5G is a little thinner and somewhat lighter. These devices use Android operating system, but the Google Pixel 4a 5G has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features.
Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2340px resolution, it also counts with a just a little better number of pixels in each inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Google Pixel 4a 5G's processing unit is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's processing unit, they have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures in low light situations and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor and a lot higher 64 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 29% greater battery size.
Although Google Pixel 4a 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel 4a 5G, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, resigning some specifications.
