Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a score of 90.9, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 general score. These phones include the same Android 10 OS. Even being the best phone in this comparison, it must be told that it's also a just a bit thicker and just a little heavier phone. Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has a better 1334 x 2772 pixels resolution, a little bigger display and a just a little better count of pixels in each inch in the display. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a better storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a back camera with a much worse 50 mega pixels resolution, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality.
