The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a global score of 81.1, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 50E's 78.9 overall score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with Android 10 operating system, while Huawei Mate 50E has HarmonyOS 3 operating system. Even being the best device in this review, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a noticeably older, thicker and a bit heavier device than Huawei Mate 50E.
The Huawei Mate 50E counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Huawei Mate 50E also has a just a little higher pixel count in each inch of screen and a slightly better resolution of 1224 x 2700px. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 50E, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
Huawei Mate 50E features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 50E also has more RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features just a little bit longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 50E, because it has a 13% greater battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots way better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 50E, because although it has a much tinier camera aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
