Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite, having an 81.1 score against 79.5. These phones work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so they should provide the user the same operating system features. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is better than the Huawei P40 Lite, we must highlight that it's also a little thicker and somewhat heavier.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bit superior CPU than Huawei P40 Lite. Both have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory. Huawei P40 Lite has a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2310px, it also counts with a bit better count of pixels per inch of screen.

So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, else you can save some money and get the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning some features and specs.
