LG V30S ThinQ has a score of 82.5, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 overall score. These phones come with Android OS, but LG V30S ThinQ has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10 version, so it gives you some additional features and performance optimizations. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a greater camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a much better battery performance than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, resigning a couple features and specifications.
