Comparison review
The Galaxy A50s is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, having an 86.6 score against 81.1. Even though the Galaxy A50s and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro were only released with a couple months difference, the Galaxy A50s is thinner and notably lighter. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS (Operating System).
The Samsung Galaxy A50s's processor is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro one, both have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM. The Galaxy A50s counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little greater amount of pixels in each inch of screen.
The Galaxy A50s features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy A50s also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because it has a 26 percent larger battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A50s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a bigger camera aperture for better captures in poorly lited environments, a camera in the back with much more mega pixels and a bigger sensor.
