Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, getting a overall score of 90.8 against 81.1. The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 design is a little bit thinner and just a little lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, even though both of them were released with only a few months difference.
Galaxy Note 20 has just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note 20 also has a higher amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. They have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the same display density and a display of the same size.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a greater storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting images or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a much more MP camera in the back, better 30 frames per second video frame rates and a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 20, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity against 4300mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you want to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
