Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S5, getting an 81.1 score against 80.8. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's construction is newer, but way heavier and a little thicker than Samsung Galaxy S5. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2.
Samsung Galaxy S5 features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and less cpu cores , it also counts with a graphics processor.
