Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, having a overall score of 81.1 against 80.9. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a much heavier phone than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, but both of them are 0.35inches thick. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0 version, providing the user some nice extra features and better performance.
Galaxy S6 Active features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with an extra graphics processor and a 64-bit processor. Galaxy S6 Active has a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display density and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and although they both have the same aperture, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a camera with much more megapixels and a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking much better quality videos and photographs.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with much more memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 43 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S6 Active. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy S6 Active, giving up a couple specs and features.
