Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, with a overall score of 81.1 against 78.1. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is notably newer than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, it's noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has an older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Galaxy S7 edge has a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 2 GB more RAM and 4 more processing cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 39% more battery size. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a much more megapixels camera in the back and a much larger camera sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is also cheap compared to the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.
