Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a general score of 81.1, which is slightly better than Galaxy XCover 5's general score of 78.1. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro body is a little thinner than Galaxy XCover 5, although it's somewhat heavier and was released just 10 months before. These devices come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the previous 10 version while Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11 version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a larger display and a greater pixels count in each inch of display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures a lot better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for taking photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a back camera with a lot higher resolution and a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Galaxy XCover 5 has more storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
