Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a little bit better than the Xiaomi 12, with an 81.1 score against 78.8. Even being the best we are comparing, we must note that it is also older, somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker. Both of these devices use Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has older 10 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a much greater performance than Xiaomi 12, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Xiaomi 12 counts with a much better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, the Xiaomi 12 also counts with a just a little higher pixel density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi 12, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi 12, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
Xiaomi 12 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a lot less MP resolution back camera, and they both have the same camera aperture, the Xiaomi 12 also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video quality and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
