Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi 12 Pro, having an 81.1 score against 79.6. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the older 10 version and Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro body is older, a little thicker and just a bit heavier than Xiaomi 12 Pro.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also has a greater pixels count in each inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200px. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a quite bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a much powerful CPU than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a little better battery performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi 12 Pro takes clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a much less mega-pixels back-facing camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also counts with a way higher 7680x4320 video definition and a much larger back camera sensor which gives a lot better photo and video quality.
