Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a score of 86.6, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's overall score of 81.1. Even being the best in this comparison review, it must be told that it's also a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. Both of them have the same display density, the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a screen with the same size. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a greater memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 64 mega pixels, a 0.59 inches back camera sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rate and a larger aperture to capture better photos and videos in poorly lited situations.
