Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a general score of 81.1, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's 77.7 score. Even being the best cellphone in our current comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro design is somewhat heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2280px, it also counts with a bit higher pixel count in each inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes a lot better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a F1.9 aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a back-facing camera with a much better resolution and a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a much better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
