Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, getting an 83.2 score against 81.1. Xiaomi Mi 9's design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, even though it was released just a little over a year before. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels quantity in each display inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with more memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi 9's camera is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's camera, because although the Xiaomi Mi 9 has a back-facing camera with a much lower 48 MP resolution, a tinier camera sensor and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better low light captures.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a very superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
