Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a overall score of 81.1 against 77.5. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro design is noticeably newer and just a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's, but it's also thicker. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a little larger screen, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little better pixels density.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a bit bigger memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures greater pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a much higher 64 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, a way bigger sensor which offers a lot better photo and video quality and a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photos and videos.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity against 5020mAh.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is also cheap compared to the other phone.
