Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, having an 81.1 score against 77.2. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, it is just a little thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2280px, it also counts with a just a bit better pixel density. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a little bit more storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has a 26% more battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a lot more megapixels camera in the back, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lot bigger camera sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality.
