The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has a global score of 85.3, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's score of 76.6. Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has iOS 15.x OS, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 OS. Although Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 were only released 8 months apart, the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max design is somewhat heavier but just a bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9.
Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a same size screen, the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max also has a quite better pixel density and a slightly better resolution of 1242 x 2688 pixels. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
