The iPhone 12 has a score of 88.7, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 score. The iPhone 12 works with iOS 15.x operating system, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 comes with Android 10 operating system. Even when iPhone 12 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 were released with only a couple of months difference, iPhone 12 is somewhat thinner and lighter.
