Apple iPhone 6 Plus is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having an 80.4 score against 76.6. Although Apple iPhone 6 Plus is notably older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's body is somewhat thinner and lighter. Apple iPhone 6 Plus comes with iOS 8.x operating system, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 comes with Android 10 operating system.
The iPhone 6 Plus has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has less and slower cpu cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processing unit. The Apple iPhone 6 Plus counts with a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080px resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch.
Apple iPhone 6 Plus counts with a slightly better memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes much better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels, a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photography.

If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
