IPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's overall score of 76.6. The iPhone 8 Plus body is somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although it's a little heavier and was released many years before. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels density.
The iPhone 8 Plus has a better performing CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a way better battery life than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 2691mAh.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
