Comparison review
Google Pixel 4 XL is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having a global score of 82.9 against 76.6. Even when Google Pixel 4 XL and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 were released only 7 months apart, Google Pixel 4 XL is a little thinner and just a little bit lighter. The Google Pixel 4 XL has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3040.
The Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 3700mAh. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots much better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photos and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels and a lot larger camera sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you want to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
