Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a score of 82.9 against 76.6. The Google Pixel 4a body is a bit thinner and much lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, even though both were released only 3 months apart. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but Google Pixel 4a has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10, so it counts with some extra features and enhanced performance.
Google Pixel 4a features a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 4a also has 3 GB more RAM. The Google Pixel 4a counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Google Pixel 4a also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a superior camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality photographs and a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Google Pixel 4a counts with a little bit better memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a very superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 60 percent greater battery capacity.
Google Pixel 4a is more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
