Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a 5G has a global score of 87.5, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 general score. Even though Google Pixel 4a 5G and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 were only released with a couple months difference, Google Pixel 4a 5G is lighter and a little thinner. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Google Pixel 4a 5G has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, offering a couple nice extra features and a performance increase.
Google Pixel 4a 5G has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also has 3 GB more RAM memory. Google Pixel 4a 5G features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also counts with a quite greater screen pixels density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and video and slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels and a much larger sensor.
Google Pixel 4a 5G features a little bit more memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features superior battery duration than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 29% greater battery size.
Google Pixel 4a 5G is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
