Comparison review
HTC U Ultra has a general score of 77, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's general score of 76.6. Despite of the fact that the HTC U Ultra is noticeably older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. HTC U Ultra features a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a greater display density.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a bit more powerful processor than HTC U Ultra, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores. The HTC U Ultra features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the HTC U Ultra also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a much longer battery performance than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a superior camera than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a back camera with much more mega-pixels and a larger sensor capturing higher quality photographs.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy HTC U Ultra, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, resigning some specs and features.
