Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having a overall score of 85.3 against 76.6. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 construction is newer and incredibly thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's, although it is also heavier. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, offering some nice extra features.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has 5 GB more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a higher number of pixels per inch in the display, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a lot better 1892 x 2688px resolution and a bigger screen.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a bit more memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a slightly better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a smaller camera aperture and worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back-facing camera with a much better resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 4449mAh.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
