Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a score of 76.6, which is a bit better than Moto G8 Power's 76 overall score. Both of these phones have the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Moto G8 Power were released only 1 months apart, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's construction is just a bit thinner but also a little heavier.
Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a display that's just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 one, because although the Motorola Moto G8 Power has a quite lower 1080 x 2300 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little greater pixel count in each inch in the display.
The Moto G8 Power has a greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Moto G8 Power also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB. Moto G8 Power features a processing unit that is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 one, and although the Moto G8 Power has 1 GB more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution and a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Moto G8 Power both count with incredibly similar battery durations, although the Moto G8 Power has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 5020mAh.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it is more expensive than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto G8 Power. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Motorola Moto G8 Power, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
