Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is just a bit better than Moto Z3 Play, with a global score of 76.6 against 76.3. Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is newer than Moto Z3 Play, it's a lot thicker and much heavier. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Moto Z3 Play have similar screens, because although the Moto Z3 Play has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixels quantity in each inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a bit superior processor than Moto Z3 Play, although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a much better camera than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light images and video, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better battery life than Moto Z3 Play, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
