Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a bit better than the OnePlus 9, getting a score of 76.6 against 76. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is an older, just a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier phone than the OnePlus 9. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has an older 10 version while OnePlus 9 has Android 11.
OnePlus 9 features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a display of the same size, the OnePlus 9 also has a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. OnePlus 9 features slightly more storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The OnePlus 9 counts with a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 9 also has a higher amount of RAM. The OnePlus 9 features a superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 48 megapixels and a same size aperture, the OnePlus 9 also has a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a way bigger camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than OnePlus 9, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is also a bargain compared to the other phones, which makes it an obvious call.
