The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a global score of 81.3, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 overall score. These phones include the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect. Samsung Galaxy A31 is a just a bit lighter and a little bit thinner phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although both were released with only a few months difference.
Samsung Galaxy A31's processor is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 one, and although the Samsung Galaxy A31 has more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
