Galaxy A50 has a global score of 83.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's general score of 76.6. Even though the Galaxy A50 is older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's design is thinner and lighter. Samsung Galaxy A50 features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Galaxy A50 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a little higher pixels density. Galaxy A50 counts with a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has better battery lifetime than Galaxy A50, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a way larger sensor providing a much better image quality and a way more MP back-facing camera.
Galaxy A50 is not only the best phones in our current comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes it a great choice.
