Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a score of 85.2 against 76.6. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018)'s construction is a bit lighter and thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although it was released around 18 months before. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and the Galaxy A9 (2018) feature very similar displays, although the Galaxy A9 (2018) has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2220, a little lower number of pixels per inch in the screen and a quite smaller display.
Galaxy A9 (2018) features a much greater storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy A9 (2018) features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features better battery lifetime than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 32 percent bigger battery size. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for taking photographs or video in low light environments, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back facing camera with much more megapixels and a way larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
