Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a general score of 97.6, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 score. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, so it gives you lots of additional features and better performance. The Samsung Galaxy Fold construction is notably heavier but noticeably thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and they were released only a few months apart.
Galaxy Fold features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Fold also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Galaxy Fold have incredibly similar displays, because although the Galaxy Fold has a little worse count of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a quite better resolution of 1536 x 2152.
Galaxy Fold counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because it has a 15 percent greater battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a smaller aperture and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a way larger camera sensor which provides a much better image and video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Fold, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, resigning a couple features and specs.
