Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with an 80.2 score against 76.6. Although Samsung Galaxy Note5 is extremely older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's construction is thinner and lighter. Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater pixel density.
The Galaxy Note5 has a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note5 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a superior storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger diafragm aperture, a way higher resolution camera in the back and a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
