Galaxy S23 has a global score of 77.9, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 general score. Galaxy S23's body is thinner and extremely lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Galaxy S23 has the newer 13 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much powerful processor than Galaxy S23, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy S23, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340px resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a bit larger screen.
Galaxy S23 features a slightly bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy S23, although it has a lower 48 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a way tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, they both have the same aperture.
