The Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 score. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S5 has 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10, providing you a lot of extra features and a performance increase. Although Galaxy S5 is a lot older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's design is just a bit thinner and way lighter.
Galaxy S5 has a lot better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels density. The Galaxy S5 features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a graphics processor.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a much better resolution back camera, a bigger aperture and a much bigger sensor. Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
