Comparison review
Galaxy S5 Plus is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a 78.1 score against 76.6. Both devices in this comparison use Android operating system, but the Galaxy S5 Plus has a newer 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10, providing a lot of extra features. Galaxy S5 Plus is an older phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but Samsung was able to build it incredibly lighter and just a little bit thinner anyway.
Galaxy S5 Plus has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a way smaller screen and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a way larger sensor shooting way better quality videos and pictures, a bigger aperture for better photos in low light situations and a camera with way more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 5020mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy S5 Plus is also a bit cheaper, making it a simple decision.
