Galaxy S6 Edge has an overall score of 85.7, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's score of 76.6. Galaxy S6 Edge's design is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, even though it was released 5 years before. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version.
The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores and 3 GB of RAM, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64-bits CPU and an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a much sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and more pixels per inch of display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots greater photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a bigger camera aperture to take better low-light images, a way bigger camera sensor capturing much better quality photos and videos and a back camera with way more MP.
The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with just a bit more memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 93% larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
