Comparison review
Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, getting an 81.7 score against 76.6. Even though the Galaxy S8 is incredibly older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's body is somewhat thinner and way lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy S8 counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better screen pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a much bigger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photos.
The Galaxy S8 counts with just a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy S8 also has an external memory slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
