Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with an 81.9 score against 76.6. Even being the best phone in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's design is notably older, somewhat thicker and just a little heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a much better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels count per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy S8 Active also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a camera with a way better 48 mega pixels resolution and a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy S8 Active is also a bit cheaper.
