Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S9 has an overall score of 83.3, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 overall score. Samsung Galaxy S9's body is lighter and just a little thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, despite of the fact that it was released 2 years before. The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S9 features a more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a greater pixel count in each inch in the screen. Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a bigger memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and videos in low light situations and slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a much more megapixels back camera.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a superior battery duration than Galaxy S9, because it has a 67% larger battery size.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Galaxy S9 is also by far the cheapest, making it a great choice.
