Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having a general score of 88.5 against 76.6. Both devices we are comparing here include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has newer 12 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, giving you some nice extra features and optimized performance. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's construction is thinner and just a bit lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although both of them were only released with a couple months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also has more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2636 pixels, a bit bigger display and a just a little better display pixel density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and a F1.8 aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a way larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a back camera with a way higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, letting go some specifications.
