The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a general score of 90.6, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's score of 76.6. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Z Fold 3 has the newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10, so it offers some additional features and improved performance. Although the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a lot heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's extremely thinner and also newer.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 count with incredibly similar displays, because although the Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a quite worse number of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a higher 1768 x 2208 resolution and a larger display.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots greater photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, because it has a way higher 48 megapixels resolution camera and a larger camera aperture.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has just a little better battery duration than Galaxy Z Fold 3, because it has a 5020mAh battery size.
