The Sony Xperia 10 II has a global score of 78.5, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 general score. Both devices in this review have the same Android 10 OS. Although the Sony Xperia 10 II and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 were only released 1 months apart, the Sony Xperia 10 II is noticeably lighter and a little thinner.

Xperia 10 II has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density and a quite better 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution. The Sony Xperia 10 II counts with a processor that is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's processing unit, and although the Sony Xperia 10 II has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

The Xperia 10 II features a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better camera than Xperia 10 II, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a bigger diafragm aperture, a way better resolution back facing camera and a much larger sensor providing a much better image quality.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a way better battery duration than Xperia 10 II, because it has a 39% larger battery capacity.
