Comparison review
Xperia XZ Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's global score of 76.6. Despite of the fact that the Xperia XZ Premium is way older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's construction is just a bit lighter and thinner. The Xperia XZ Premium features a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia XZ Premium also has 1 GB more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with an incredibly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 2160 x 3840 resolution and a much better screen pixel density. Xperia XZ Premium has slightly more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ Premium also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a bigger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs, a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and videos and a lot more mega-pixels camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a very superior battery lifetime than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 3230mAh.
