Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a score of 76.6, which is a bit better than TCL 20 Pro 5G's 76.1 global score. Both phones we compare here include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has an older 10 version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is older and a little heavier than TCL 20 Pro 5G, it's body is still a bit thinner.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has more RAM. TCL 20 Pro 5G features a screen that's just as good as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's screen, because although the TCL 20 Pro 5G has a little worse pixel quantity per inch of display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a little larger display.
TCL 20 Pro 5G captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, a same size camera aperture and the same resolution back facing camera, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a way higher (4K) video quality. TCL 20 Pro 5G features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has just a bit better battery lifetime than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 4500mAh.
